Rates & Policies

• ADULTS ONLY CABINS IN HOCKING HILLS, OHIO
• Weekdays are Sunday through Thursday, Weekends are Friday through Saturday.
• Rate is for 2 adults only, per night. Extra adults is $20.00 extra per night per person.
• Take 10% off for 7 night stay or more.
• Sunday & Thursday will be charged as a weekend night if booked with Friday or Saturday.
• The tax rate is 12 1/4% and is not included in the rate.
• No cash refunds due to the weather or power outage(reschedule only).
  
• All holidays are a three night minimum at weekend rate.
• $35 cleaning fee on all reservations
• NO KIDS, NO PETS, NO SMOKING - Violations will incur a $200 fee per violation and possible eviction
  
• Smoking permitted in designated cabins only

Policies

Reservations

All Reservations require 50% payment of rental fees on reservation made date. 

The remainder of rental fees and any additional items is due the morning of your arrival date. If you would like the payment to be charged to any other credit card, other than the one on file, or there are no valid credit cards on file, then it is the guest responsibility to call or send in the payment prior to that morning. 

Hocking Hills Cabins, Inc. will automatically charge the credit card on file if no other arrangements are made by guest prior to the reservation date to secure the rental property. 

Reservations are not considered "guaranteed" until a signed rental lease agreement and payment of 50 % of the total rental fees are received by Agent at the appropriate office. 

If payment in full is not received by Hocking Hills Cabins, Inc. the morning of the reservation the reservation may be subject to cancellation without refund.

Cancellation

There is a $50.00 cancellation fee on all reservations up until 14 days prior to the reservation date. No reschedule after your into the 14 days.

There is a booking engine service fee (6%) that was added when you made the reservation it is fully refundable if cancelled within 20 days of making the reservation. This service fee is not affiliated with the lodging owner. 

After 14 days prior to the reservation date there are NO REFUNDS or RESCHEDULING.

If there is a shutdown order from the Ohio governor you can reschedule only (no cash refunds). To cancel this reservation you must send us an email at hhcabins@frontier.com, phone messages to cancel will not be honored.

Check-in

• We have 7 very secluded cabins on 100 acres for your enjoyment. 
• We are a family run small business; therefore we do not keep regular office hours. 
• Your cabin will be ready at 4:00 PM or shortly thereafter. 
• You may check in anytime after 4:00 PM. 
• We live on the property, and would like the opportunity to greet you upon your arrival; however that is not always possible. 
• Please call at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival to take care of your balance and arrange for a check in time. 
• If we do not answer please leave a message on the answering machine with your approximate time of arrival and how you would like to pay your balance. 
• If we are unable to be here at your scheduled check-in time, we will leave your cabin key and a map on the office porch for you.
• If you have not called to arrange for the payment of your balance we will charge your credit card and leave a receipt with your key.
• If you have any questions about payment or check-in, please call in advance of your arrival (not the same day as we may not be in the office at that time). 
• A map with directions to our office will be sent to your email.

Fully equipped kitchens include:

stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, coffee filters, dishes, pots, pans, and silverware, dish soap and dish towels. 

You may want to bring your favorite skillet (ours are not Teflon coated), paper towels, napkins, food, charcoal for grill, beverages.

Don't forget to bring:

DVD's, your favorite skillet, paper towels, napkins, food, lawn chairs for outside, charcoal for grill, beverages, cell phone, iron, large towels for hot tub and blow dryer.

Things To Know

While retreating to the Hocking Hills, we hope you will enjoy the fresh country air, scenic views and your stay with us; however, you are coming to the country!

In addition to curvy roads, you will encounter hilly terrain, gravel roads, and there are no street lights.

You may also encounter bees, ladybugs, spiders, mice, and inclement weather.

No hunting, No ATV/ motorcycle riding and No landline phones.

Because of the seclusion of our cabins you might have a short walk (100-200 feet) down a lighted gravel path to your cabin. The Sunset, Sweet Seclusion and Happiness Is are the only cabins you can park at your door.

We do supply a wagon for your convenience to transport your luggage, coolers, etc.

Firewood

We will have firewood available that you can purchase on the property.

It is available for you to get at your convenience from the wood shed for a small fee.

We only charge enough to cover our cost

YOU CAN NOT BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD!

Ohio's Department of Natural Resources and Department of agriculture are trying to stop the spread of the EMERALD ASH BORER which is an insect that kills ash trees.

Because this pest is extensively found in Michigan and in parts of Indiana, Illinois and Ohio, the movement of firewood around the state of Ohio has been banned.

Guests are warned not to risk steep fines if caught bringing firewood into the area.
